Tuas Power Station
Tuas Power Station and its associated facilities are located at the western shore of Singapore. The station, which occupies an area of approximately 75 hectares, was developed in two stages.


  Stage I

Stage I comprises two units of 600 MW oil-fired steam generating plant. The plant began commercial operation in 1999.


  Stage II

Stage II consists of four blocks of gas-fired combined cycle power plant, each capable of generating up to 367.5 MW. Blocks 1 and 2 were completed in 2002 while 2005 saw the completion of Blocks 3 and 4, bringing Tuas Power Station to its licensed capacity of 2,670 MW.
