Resilient Power Supply for A Sustainable
Singapore

Around 80% of Singapore’s electricity is produced using natural gas. The switch from heavy fuel oil has brought improved efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. To further diversify fuel sources, Tuas Power is developing a LNG Terminal with the government.

Also, with the Energy Market Authority, Tuas Power has opened the Tembusu Multi-Utilities Complex (TMUC) using clean coal technology to generate steam for major industries in Jurong.

We have also invested in highly efficient trigeneration and cogeneration facilities supplying steam, chilled water and electricity to a number of major pharmaceutical and petrochemical customers.
