Generation Facilities
Stage I - two 600MW
oil-fired steam generating sets. Unit 1 was completed in March
1999 and Unit 2 in December 1999.
Stage II
- four blocks of 367.5MW Combined Cycle Plants (CCP) utilising
natural gas. Block 1 has been in operation since November 2001
while Block 2 began its operation in January 2002. Blocks 3
& 4 were commissioned in February and September 2005 respectively.
