July Tuas Power Supply became Singapore’s first electricity retailer to offer lighting solutions to its customers. This programme helps them reduce their energy consumption through retrofitting their existing conventional lighting systems with energy saving ones. In conjunction with the launch, Tuas Power sponsored S$100,000 worth of lighting solutions to help five charitable organisations reduce overhead costs.
April TP Utilities was awarded a 15-year contract to supply steam and demineralised water to a new chemical plant owned by Taiwanese petrochemical company Dairen Chemicals Corporation, starting from the first quarter of 2013.

October TPGS Green Energy officially handed over Singapore’s first large scale trigeneration plant to pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. Under a 15-year agreement with Pfizer, TPGS will provide utilities and maintenance asset management services for the trigeneration facility, which was developed and built by TPGS under a partnership with Pfizer.
